MEET YOUR CREW

Captain Chris Bennett was born in London, England, and has been sailing most of his life.  Since    1992 he has made his home on the waters of the Caribbean from the Virgin Islands to Trinidad. 

Before starting his new life as a charter yacht captain, he received a degree in mechanical engineering, and was the district manager for an east coast engineering company.   As your captain, Chris enjoys tailoring your charter to your specifications, be it sharing his knowledge of sailing, taking you on guided snorkel tours, arranging a rendezvous dive for your party, putting you on a deserted beach where you can explore, or taking you to a local beach BBQ to sample the island cuisine and music.  

Chef and mate Julie Bennett was raised and educated a half world away from Chris in Kansas.            Her degrees include a Bachelor's of Fine Arts, specializing in pottery and sculpture, and a Masters         in Human Resources, which she put to use working as a Human Resources Director for more than 10 years prior to beginning her new life aboard charter yachts in 1992.   Julie's culinary talents range from exotic to down-home cooking, including American, French, Italian, Caribbean and Indian.  Her specialty is using fresh fruits, herbs and ingredients....she loves putting menus together to suit the preferences     and needs of each guest, and making sure that they get what they came for!  Check out her special "KIDS ROCK MENU" - to keep even the youngest appetites happy! 

Chris and Julie just recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.  They feel honored to be the new crew and caretakers of Yacht Felicia, and vow to offer the same quality charters to their guests that they provided for the past 10 years on their sailboat, Blu Moon.  

They are excited about the change in direction their lives are taking, as they step aboard Yacht Felicia and look to the future.   It's with great pride that they offer this beautiful & luxurious Privilège 65' catamaran to their new guests. 

Whether you're looking to unwind on deck with some quiet time and a good book in hand, sample one of the many tropical drinks they can whip up for you, bask on one of the deck trampettes, snorkel in the crystal clear waters right off the transom, or lounge on a sun mat during a brisk sail on a beautiful
